At AFG, we believe learning should empower, not exclude. The AFG Learning World is a fully immersive, gamified digital learning platform designed from the ground up to support neurodiverse learners. Built using our original Cognitive Access Design (C.A.D)™ framework, it's more than a course delivery tool — it's an experience that puts cognitive inclusion, flexibility, and joy at the heart of learning.

We use game design intentionally — to build intrinsic motivation, support progress tracking in playful, rewarding ways, and create a world that feels inviting and fun to explore. This isn’t gamification as a gimmick; it’s a tool for empowerment.

The AFG Learning World is designed to support neurodiverse learners, people with executive functioning difficulties, those with anxiety or sensory sensitivities, ESL learners, and anyone who benefits from structured, visual, and flexible learning formats.

AFG Learning World – Development Timeline

The AFG Learning World is being developed in clear, intentional stages. Here is a snapshot of where we are and where we’re going.

Stage 1 – Concept & Framework Completed

Defining the vision, learning goals, and core mechanics of the AFG Learning World, grounded in the Cognitive Access Design™ framework.

Stage 2 – Worldbuilding & Experience Design In progress

Designing the game world, narrative, and user journeys – including zones, characters, and core interaction patterns that support cognitive access.

Stage 3 – Prototype & Co-Design Next

Building a testable prototype and working with neurodiverse learners and partners to refine mechanics, accessibility features, and user experience.

Stage 4 – Beta Launch & Iteration Future

Launching a beta version with partner organisations, gathering feedback, and iterating towards a scalable, fully supported platform.
